Institute of Medical Science, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto Thesis: Functional Partitioning of the Human Lumbar Multifidus: An Analysis of Muscle Architecture, Nerve and Fiber Type Distribution Using a Novel 3D in situ Approach. Transfer exam to Ph.D., December 2005. Alessandro Rosatelli graduated from the University of Toronto with degrees in both Human Biology and Physical Therapy. He has completed the clinical Masters in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy program from the University of Queensland in Australia. He is credentialed with the McKenzie Institute International and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMT). He continues to be a hands-on clinician seeing primarily patients with spinal disorders. He is currently completing a Masters research degree at the University of Toronto Anatomy Dept. with focus on spinal anatomy. He has been an associate APTEI instructor since 2001 focusing on evidence based evaluation and management of the lumbar spine, thoracic spine and the Foot & Ankle complex.
